A Problem for the Government

Last week the prime minister sent a letter to Entezam, the foreign affairs minister, who was in Germany at the beginning of last week. This letter points to Entezam’s recent interview in Bonn and warns that such interviews may cause concern inside the county. Perhaps it is in the best interest of the country then to have fewer interviews abroad regarding Iran’s internal politics.

In Germany, Entezam had made comments about the defence agreements and then added that the government of Iran has not and will not harshly treat the unofficial religious sects, as rumour has it abroad.
