Full text of the Approved Bill for the Activities by Political Parties, Groups, Organizations and . . .by the Islamic Council

Finally, on Saturday, the Islamic Consultative Assembly passed the last article of the legal plan for the activities by political parties, groups, organizations and . . . religions and so on.  Given that this law is important, and despite the fact that we have published it once before, in order to give access. . . to all of it, we now publish it as passed.

As you can read, the plan is stated in… Articles and 19 Sections.

. . . Section 4 - Gatherings of religious minorities, as in Article 13 of the Constitution, must comprise volunteer members of that same minority whose goal is to resolve problems and review the religious, cultural, social, and economic matters related to that minority.

Section 5 - The references made to all groups in other articles of this law are intended for the political parties, associations, political and trade groups of the Islamic societies or religious minorities recognized under Article 26 of the Constitution.

Second - The Rights of the Groups

Section 6 - The activities of the groups are [permitted], provided that they do not commit violations listed in [illegible] Article 16 of this Law.

Addendum 1- All groups are obligated in [illegible] letter, to inform the Ministry of the Interior of their Articles of Incorporation, the identity of their leadership, and any further changes.

Addendum 2 - Organizing gatherings and [illegible] based on Article 27 of the Constitution is [permitted].  However, holding them in parks [illegible], squares, and public roads is subject to obtaining permission from the Ministry of the Interior.
