Interview with the Sharia Judge of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Tehran


Regarding the dealings with speculators, identification of the possessions of those who are fugitive and the punishment of the famous jewellery dealer, became clear.


Hojjatol-Islam Naser Ghavami, the Sharia judge of the Islamic Revolutionary Court:


“…regarding the matter and the manner of dealing with the speculators, and the confiscation of the properties of those who have run away, if we want to reduce inflation, one of the ways is to control this enormous wealth. So far, we have been able to identify only 20 per cent of the possessions of those who have run away and bring them under control. In this same prosecutor’s office, in the briefcase of one of the members of the Perverse Sect, there were twenty-eight million tumans. We are hoping that, through this path, we can identify all the properties.”…
