Editor of a Tajik Newspaper Resigns in Protest of Publication of Baha’i Advertising Propaganda

Tehran - Kayhan Air News Services – 16 September – Editor of the Persian magazine "Payvand" published in Tajikistan, resigned from his position in protest of publication of Baha’i advertising propaganda in the Republic’s press.

According to a reporter of [the news service] Kayhan Air in Tajikistan "Beerang Kouhdamani,"—an annex to a weekly publication of the “Persian Speakers in Tajikistan”, titled “Literature and Technology”— the editor of Payvand magazine explained the reason for his resignation and stated that someone by the name of "Golnazar," who is the director and editor of the weekly publication on “Literature and Technology” was for a while publishing Baha’i advertising propaganda in his publication; however, recently he decided also to publish these ads in Payvand magazine to increase his profits.  “For this reason, I resigned in protest against this move.”

It should be noted that, following the unrest and internal challenges in Tajikistan, the missionaries of the perverse Baha’i sect have taken advantage of the situation and intensified their efforts to deceive the Muslims in this Republic.  In addition, under the leadership of certain individuals such as "Mogharrebi" and "Nader Bigdeli," in the Tajik provinces of "Ghorom" and "Koulab", they have established a far-reaching administration to promote the beliefs of Baha’ism.

In support of this sect, Russian television also broadcast a one-hour propaganda film about the beliefs of Baha’ism.
