Habib Sabet, Major Industrialist, died in Los Angeles

… Radio Israel reports that Habib Sabet Pasal, the famous Baha’i capitalist and founder of Iran’s private TV station in the 60’s, has passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 86.

Radio Israel, quoting this news from the Iran Times of Washington, in his praise and applause for this individual, bestowed on him the title of “major industrialist” and claimed that the Mostazafan Foundation had confiscated millions of dollars’ worth of properties belonging to this poor man after his escape from Iran.

Noteworthy is that not only did he not leave any wealth behind in Iran, but he also owed millions of tomans in debt to various banks, and this so-called “major industrialist” transferred huge amounts of Iran’s wealth abroad this way.
