Government’s response on the Baha’is
In accordance with provisions of the Foreign Investment Act, it was planned to invite American investors, who [comprise] Baha’is and Jewish investors, to invest in Iran. However, owing to the situation of the Baha’is, investors changed their plans and decided not to come to Iran. At this point, to restore investor confidence and draw them to this country, the government is apparently trying to find solutions to the issue, and reestablish the confidence of the Americans investors while keeping the clergy content.
