The Joint Staff of the Armed Forces,

 

Pursuant to letter number 14437/D/4199, dated 25 Ordibehesht 1320 [15 May 1941] containing a copy of the report by the Army’s Sixth Legion of Khuzestan, regarding the gathering of the Baha’is in various cities of the Sixth Province, we announce that in carrying out the blessed orders of the shah to the minister of justice, who is currently in those parts, he is instructed by telegram to carry out detailed and serious investigations regarding this group and their gatherings and intentions—in consultation with the Army’s Sixth Legion of Khuzestan, and being informed of the background of the matter and reviewing the documents which have been discovered—and report the results so that they may be presented to the blessed presence of the shah.
