…This spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about publicity by the Western media regarding the demolition of the abandoned cemetery of the Baha’is, said, “This is a typical example of the Western media tricks. We queried city council about the matter and they responded that this action had also been taken about the Muslim cemetery. It means that, after the passage of a long period of time in the lifespan of these cemeteries that are situated in the densely populated areas of the city, because of urban and health problems, appropriate steps are taken to change their mode of utilization and turn them into public places such as parks”.
