The Islamic Development Office of Qods City:
A workshop on critique of sects and religions and deviant sects was held for missionaries and students in the City of Qods.
With the help of the Islamic Development [Office], and the cooperation of the Sisters’ Seminary of Qods City, a workshop on critique of sects, religions and deviant sects was held in this city.
According to the public relations department of the Islamic Development of the Tehran Province, Mohsen Dehghani, the public relations officer of the Islamic Development [Office] of Qods, announced the holding of a workshop on critique of sects and religions in Qods. He said, “Despite the conspiracies and plots of the enemies of Islam and Muslims, the Islamic Development [Office] held a special training workshop for students in the City of Qods, advancing the awareness of the people and confronting the enemies of Islam.”
This workshop was held with the cooperation of the Sisters’ Seminary of Baqir al-Uloom in the presence of students, with a lecture by the renowned lecturer of the seminary and the university, Hojatoleslam Hoseini-Alast.
Speaking about Baha’ism, Hojatoleslam Hoseini-Alast added, “Baha’ism is not a sect of thought, but an extremely dangerous system that acts as an arm of Zionism and attracts young people not by ideology, but by engaging in illegitimate sexual issues.” Dr. Hoseini-Alast added, “This system is basically devoid of content and uses tools such as music, nudity and sex to attract its audience.”
In the end, he pointed out, “The reason for the [popularity of] this sect is not awareness and research; rather, it is complete ignorance, out of whim and some misfortunes, so we must take a step with a broad religious cultural jihad to raise the level of awareness of different sections of society, which is one of the obvious and important tasks that we seminary students must take forward.”
It should be mentioned that this workshop was held on Thursday, 6 Azar [27 November], at the Baqir al-Uloom Seminary in Qods City.
