Holding the Rang-e Neyrang [“Chameleon”] Conference in Qom
Politics and Economics Group – “The [“Chameleon”] Conference was held with the theme of contemplation of the activists on criticism of the heretical Baha’i sect, with the help of the Centre for Deepening Religious Beliefs of the Islamic Propaganda Office and with the cooperation of the Meraj Institute.”
According to the International Quran News Agency (IQNA) from Qom, the conference was held on 10 Esfand [28 February] in the presence of 150 lecturers, researchers and writers in the field of critique of the perverse Baha’i [sect] at the Yavaran-e [Hazrate] Mahdi Complex in Qom.
At this conference, speakers presented their latest research on Baha’i studies. Another programme held in the conference was celebrating the character of Ayatollah Mohammad Mardani, one of the prominent professors, with a background in the field of critique of sects and deviant religions. Also, ten activists in this arena, in the fields of research, education, cyberspace, article writing, etc., were honoured.
Ali-Reza Rouzbahani, head of the Baha’ism desk of the Centre for Deepening Religious Beliefs of the Propaganda Office, and managing director of the Meraj Institute, emphasized that the efforts for the quantitative and qualitative growth of critical scientific activities in the field of Baha’i studies, the acquaintance of activists in this field with each other, and learning about the latest research findings, [are] the goals of this conference. He described the great fighters, such as Ayatollah Mardani, in the war against deviant sects.
At the end of the programme, the participants attended two specialized panels to present their views from a cultural and political perspective.
