Central Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Prosecutor

Letter of instruction regarding verdict issued by the Islamic Revolutionary Court to the incarcerated person

Inmate Mr. Shoaollah Sharif, son of Ali Asghar, identification number [redacted], arrested on 18/6/1363 [9/9/1984] for being a member of the perverse Baha’i sect and advocating in their favour, was sentenced by the Central Islamic Revolutionary Court on 12/12/1363 [20/3/1985] to 15 years’ imprisonment.  Taking into consideration the [time served during his] temporary detention, his release date is 18/6/1378 [9/9/1999].

It is appropriate that prison officers inform the Department of Verdict Enforcement five days prior to the end of his sentence so necessary action can be taken to release the prisoner.  It is also necessary to give to the Archives office a copy of the above verdict, viewed and signed by the offender with his fingerprint [affixed to the document as proof], for records purposes.
