Hojatoleslam Shojouni: Reza Khan Did Not Dare to Make the Mistake That Faezeh Made

According to the Tasnim News Agency media group, Hojatoleslam Shojouni, a member of the Central Council of the Society of Combatant Clerics, said, about Faezeh Hashemi’s recent meeting with Baha’i leaders, “Regarding the dirty Baha’i party, which is not a religion but a [political] party, Reza Khan and his son did not dare to make such a mistake, but Mrs. Faezeh, with the backing of her father, made such a mistake and has undermined her family. Faezeh is a wicked child of Mr. Hashemi and he states that she has made a mistake and must make up for it. She replied, ‘No, I did not make a mistake and I will not make up for it. I feel sorry for this family.’”

He added, “There is an audio video of Faezeh’s mother who once said that if Mir-Hossein Mousavi does not get elected, people should take to the streets. The young people will kill themselves to earn one or two hundred thousand tomans, while Mr. Hashemi’s son spent billions for Mir-Hossein Mousavi’s election and now he is in prison. His dear father has read the holy verses of the Quran in his ear and says that this boy has done Quranic deeds, and they are taking him, undeservedly, to prison.”

He added, “The leader of the revolution says I am not liberal. I am revolutionary. We should all be revolutionaries and maintain our regime with our teeth and claws and throw away these cowardly mercenaries. It was really embarrassing when I saw this photo of Faezeh Hashemi wearing a veil among the Baha’i leaders. Some were unveiled women, and this is a shame for Mr. Hashemi’s family. Mr. Hashemi has been hit hard. Whether he confirms it or denies it, he must make up for it; otherwise he will be undermined.”
