The Islamic Republic Condemned a Baha’i to Death

 

Habibollah Mehrani aged 49, and a member of the Baha’i religion, was condemned to death by the Islamic Republic Court because of his refusal to recant his faith.

 

The Baha’i Community of France upon releasing this news, has stated that, Habibollah Mehrani has been imprisoned in Iran for some years. His condemnation to death could be the sign of a new wave of suppression of the Baha’is by the authorities of Tehran.

 

The Court of the Iranian government has also confiscated the properties of Habibollah Mehrani, because according to the religious authorities of the Islamic Republic, Habibollah Mehrani has families [unfinished document]
