The Letter from the Prime Minister to the Minister of Foreign Affairs

Earlier this week, the prime minister sent a letter to Entezam [Abdollah], the foreign minister, who was in Germany early last week.

The letter referred to a recent interview with Entezam in Bonn, and noted that such interviews could cause concern in the country; therefore, if there are fewer interviews on Iran’s domestic policies abroad, it may be more in the interest of the country.

In Germany, Entezam had made statements regarding defence agreements, and he said later that the Iranian government, as is rumoured abroad, has not been and will not be strict with informal religious sects.
