Alia in An Interview with Fars News Agency:

Baha’is, Wahhabis, Monafeghin and Mousavi’s Supporters Were Together to Desecrate Ashura

Fars News Agency: A member of the Commission of National Security [and Foreign Policy] of the Parliament, [after] stating that, “On the day of Ashura, traces of the freedom movement, Monafeghin [Mojahedin-e Khalgh] and a faction of Wahhabis were observed”, said, “The actions of Mousavi and his supporters paved the way for the participation of Mojahedin.”

Fatemeh Alia, a member of the Commission of National Security and Foreign Policy of the parliament, in an interview with a Fars News Agency’s foreign policy reporter, said, “The type of slogans and actions taken in the insults of Ashura showed that the Mojahedin were in charge of organizing some parts of the disturbances.”

Referring to the history of the Mojahedin, she said, “Every year, Mojahedin were trying to organize some movements on the Day of Ashura. Unfortunately, the actions of Mousavi and his supporters paved the way for their participation this year.”

The representative of the people of Tehran [to parliament], stating that the people have also realised this issue, said, “After the Mojahedin took responsibility for part of the operation and officially announced it, it became evident that the people’s assessment was correct, because after 30 years of their hatred of the principles of Islam, the type of their deviant slogans and beliefs is known.”

Alia, noting that, “the depth of the hypocritical and deviant beliefs of the Mojahedin is clear to the Iranian nation”, added, “Even the type of assassinations and the attacks that took place on Jamaran and the continuation of the slogans that were given on the Day of Ashura, show the presence of the Mujahidin during the recent riots.”

A member of the Commission on National Security stated, “In the overthrow operation that took place on the Day of Ashura, traces of the freedom movement, Mojahedin, Baha’ism and part of Wahhabism can be seen, who were present alongside Mousavi’s supporters.”
