By Order of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Urmia:

4 Individuals Guilty of Espionage for the Usurper [Israeli] Regime Occupying Al-Quds Have Been Executed.

 

According to a decision of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Urmia, two individuals, charged with acting against the Islamic Republic [government], espionage for the regime that is occupying Al-Quds [Israel], and two others found guilty of adultery, were executed in that city. The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Urmia released the following statement:

 

In the Name of God,

 

The Muslim and ever-ready people of Urmia are hereby notified that four individuals [two Baha’is], by the names of Aghaollah Tizfahm, son of Khairollah, and Jalaliyyeh Moshtaiel Uskuie, son of Mohammad, were found guilty of espionage and acting against the Islamic Republic [of Iran] in the interests of the usurper regime of Israel, sending financial aid to that country[Israel], formation of Baha’i Assemblies, perversion of the minds of youth, distortion of the Divine Verses [the Quran], meeting with Zionist spies, and attending international Baha’i gatherings and meetings, and were sentenced to death by Order of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Urmia and subsequent confirmation of the Supreme Court, and their assets and properties were confiscated.

The sentences were carried out on 19/2/1361 [9 May 1982] and 20/2/1361 [10 May 1982].
