An Israeli spy was executed in Urmia
Urmia—Islamic Republic News Agency
By the orders of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Urmia, two individuals, charged with propaganda against the Islamic Republic government, and one other, charged with repeated armed robberies and murder, were executed. The orders were enforced.
Names of the accused and their sentences are as follows:
…Ehsan[ollah] Khayyami, son of Mousa, was executed for espionage against the Islamic Republic government of Iran in the interest of the occupying regime, distortion of the verses of Quran, spreading immorality and corruption on earth, and perverting minds of the youth….
