Discussion of Ettelaat Newspaper with Hojjatol-Islam Ali Tehrani (the last section)
Mojahedin-e-khalq Support the Democrats and the Komala Party!
Ettelaat Reporter: Do you consider the most important duty of the parliament at this [juncture] to be internal or external politics?
Scholar Tehrani: I do not accept the origin of this parliament. Because some of those who are members of this parliament belong to the “Counter-Bahaism Society” and those who were following Ayatollah Khomeini were not allowed to be in this parliament. They would say that Khomeini wanted to turn Iran into a communist regime. Another group of them were promoters of the Shah. … Some would pray for the Shah on 21 Farvardin and for the removal of danger from the royal person. Now the four thousand toman cheque that they received for it [praying for the life of the Shah] exists, but of course it’s a photocopy!
