Commotion in the Khaneh-e Asayesh [House of Quietude]!

Fourteen men and 31 women, who pass the last days of their painful and agonising lives in the Darrous House of Quietude, due to different kinds of sicknesses such as brain strokes, heart attacks, hand and foot or full body paraplegia, deafness, muteness, bone fracture, old age and morbidity, have delegated me and given me the mandate to bring to the attention of the authorities their [earnest] petition and a pitiful cry for justice, with the hope that one may lay balm on their wounds.

My advocacy is undertaken as a contribution for the sake of God. The reason for it is that yesterday’s Misaghiyyeh Hospital, which today is called Mustafa Khomeini Hospital, has decided to establish the Khaneh-e Asayesh [House of Quietude] in Darrous to look after the kind of patients who are not so ill that a hospital bed could be dedicated to them, nor healthy enough that they could be taken care of at home ….
