Regarding the Occupation of the “Haziratu’l-Quds” by Disciplinary Forces

As the proliferation and propagation of the Baha’i sect has provoked the public sentiments, for the sake of safeguarding the public order, the army was instructed to occupy the centre of the propagation of this sect, named the Haziratu’l-Quds, and prevent any probable future sinister event.

At present, the military commander of the City of Tehran expects that all our dear compatriots will observe discipline and [maintain the] general order, and strictly abstain from any uprising and self-motivated actions that are detrimental to public order and will rest assured that the government, in obedience to His Imperial Majesty’s will, is fully attentive to the sentiments and aspirations of the people and at all times considers the public welfare and fulfilling the public needs.

Occupation of the Haziratu’l-Quds by the Disciplinary Forces

Since during the past few days, the famous preacher Mr. Falsafi, during his sermons for the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan at the Soltani Mosque, had stated the need to prevent the spread of Baha’i propagation and gatherings in the country, which has been broadcast on the radio. It was feared that these provocations of the public sentiments, would disrupt the public order. Therefore, in order to prevent any unforeseen events, the Military Governorate of Tehran, this morning ordered a number of the law enforcement officers to occupy the Haziratu’l-Quds, the gathering Centre of the Baha’i community, located on Behjatabad Street.

In the above picture, the Law Enforcement Officers are seen in the outside patio of the Haziratu’l-Quds.
