Misaghieh Nursing Assistant Training Institute Wins the One-Million-Toman Prize of Memorial School’s Bonds.

The 1500-page bond for memorial schools, which won the one-million-toman prize, had been purchased from the Etebarat Bank in the name of the Misaghieh Nursing Assistant Training Institute.

The supervisory board of the training institute will use the one-million-toman prize to establish an advanced nursing training institute.

We previously reported that the one-million-toman prize of the bonds for memorial schools was won by the Misaghieh Nursing Assistant Training Institute, which is a subsidiary of the Misaghieh Hospital.

When the bonds for memorial schools became available, the Misaghiyyeh Hospital, at the suggestion of Mr. Abdul-Misagh Misaghiyyeh, the founder of the hospital, and with the approval of the supervisory board, purchased 7,500 [4,500] bonds (3 documents containing 1,500 bonds each) for memorial schools in order to build three of the 2,500 memorial schools of the Shahanshahi celebrations of Iran under the names of Misaghieh Hospital,  Misaghieh Nursing Assistant Training Institute, and Abdul-Misagh Misaghieh, in three villages in the country. In the drawings of the prizes for the memorial schools, the one-million-toman prize was matched to the 1,500-page bond from numbers 3973000 to 3974499, which had been purchased under the name of the Misaghieh Nursing Assistant Training Institute from the Etebarat Bank of Iran, West Takhte-Jamshid branch.

On this occasion, an interview was conducted with Abdul-Misagh Misaghieh, which can be read below.

In the beginning of this interview, Mr. Misaghieh stated:

“When we undertook to purchase the memorial school bonds, our aim was to participate in a social charitable cause and contribute our share to the realisation of one of the most progressive and unprecedented programmes that, on the auspicious occasion of the Shahanshahi celebrations of Iran, was executed in our country.

But now that the one-million-toman prize of the memorial schools has been won by the Misaghieh Nursing Assistant Training Institute, the members of the supervisory board of the Misaghieh Hospital and  are delighted that, in addition to participating in this movement to establish the memorial schools, we can use this prize for other beneficial causes.”

In response to the question as to what the sum of one million tomans would be used for, Mr. Misaghieh said, “I do not have a specific opinion about this matter. The supervisory board of the hospital will make a decision about it.”

In answer to the same question, Mr. Zabihollah Azizi, a retired professor of Tehran University and the head of Misaghieh Nursing Assistant Training Institute, who is also a member of the supervisory board, said,

“The sums obtained through this prize will be spent on establishing an advanced nursing training institute. In view of the need that health organizations have for well-educated nurses, the preliminary steps have been taken and the related matters are being carried out. The only problem we had was the initial investment. By the grace of God, this problem has now been solved by winning the one-million-toman prize of the memorial schools. In this way, this large prize will be spent on establishing the advanced nursing training institute and it will actually be used for another charitable purpose. I hope that in the current year, which has been named after Cyrus the Great, we will be able to witness its establishment.”

At this time, Mrs. Salimi, director of the training institute, who was present at the interview, said,  “Since the day the results of the drawing of the prizes of the memorial schools of the Shahanshahi celebrations of Iran were announced, the Misaghieh Nursing Assistant Training Institute has been experiencing a wave of joy and the students are enthusiastically congratulating each other. Such great happiness has been unprecedented in our institute.
