Two Spreaders of Corruption in Mashhad and Shiraz Executed
Mashhad – Ettelaat reporter: As ordered by the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Mashhad and confirmed by the Supreme Court of the Islamic Revolution, one individual was hanged for the crime of sodomy over a shameful twenty-year period.
In addition, as ordered by the Revolutionary Court of Torbat Heidarieh, Hasan Sinaie, son of Abbas-Ali was charged with illegal inspection of passenger buses, was sentenced to 20 lashes and the issued sentence was carried out
Shiraz – Ettelaat reporter: As ordered by the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Shiraz and confirmed by the Superior Judicial Court, Hedayatollah Siavashi, son of “Foroud” was sentenced to death and his sentence was carried out.
The charges against him were specified as activities to propagate Baha’i rituals and opposition to Islam, and the authorities of the Islamic Republic, and he was [unrelenting and unrepentant] in carrying out these activities. Several times he attended Baha’i conferences that were held outside the country, and was a member of Baha’i Lajaz [?] for a long time and for 10 years [taught the Baha’i Faith] in Bakhtaran.
He had also allowed the Baha’is to use his home for the storage of archived documents and records, and to to publish [Baha’i] pamphlets.
