Properties of Forty Taghuties Were Confiscated
The superintendent of the Office of the Prosecutor told our reporter, “By order of the court, the properties of about forty taghuties have been confiscated over the past months. They owned a large number of properties all over Tehran and other parts of the country, such as: real estate, factories and… and one of these properties is the Naeemi Orchard, stretching to one million, three hundred thousand square metres, situated in Tehran’s Yaft-Abad, which is presently in the possession of the Municipality of Tehran and has been turned into a park.
He provided the names of the majority of these people as follows:
…Ataollah Salmanpour, son of Habib [Zionist and Baha’i]
…Khalil Monjazi, son of Azizollah [active member of the Baha’i sect and having a close relationship with Shah’s family] …
…All the confiscated properties have been allocated to the Mostazafan Foundation, the Martyrs’ Foundation and the Islamic Propagations Organization; and most of these people live abroad or are on the run….
