Summary of the decision of the appeal court

Subsequent to the review made by Mr. Gholam-Hosein Raisi and Mr. Dadfar, the lawyers for Mr. Enayatollah Haghighat, regarding his request for appeal of the charges of:

“Open and extensive propaganda for the Bahá’ís in the city of Shiraz” (the exact wording),

for which he was convicted to one year’s imprisonment suspended for four years. The argument put before the court in the statement of appeal does not convince the court to dismiss the conviction, and the original order is therefore binding.
