Greetings,

Concerning your letter of 14 Bahman 1382 [3 February 2004] addressed to the exalted and honourable Leader in relation to the reinstatement of your retirement pension, owing to the charge that you are a member of the perverse Baha’i sect, and based on written judgement number 4740 dated 3 Azar 1364 [24 November 1985] issued by Branch 8 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Tehran, and with reliance on the Purification Law, you have been sentenced to permanent dismissal from government employment and the cancellation of your pension.  Accordingly, the reinstatement of your pension requires the issuance of a judgement by the judicial authorities; the reinstatement of your pension is outside the legal jurisdiction of this office.
