Anti-Monarchy Conspiracy in Iran Has Started with Opposition to Army and Army Joint Forces Chief of Staff

…However, the anger and hatred of the ruling class, hezar famil [oligarchs] and [members of the] Toudeh Party, towards the Iranian people’s affection for His Imperial Majesty [still] remains in its place. As a result of the unity and solidarity among the clergy and army, the pessimism of oligarchs and [members of] the Toudeh Party towards the king has reached its highest level. This week, during one of the sessions of the legislative assembly, harsh offensive attacks were made against the army chief of staff, Major General Batmanghelich, and the other military forces. They complained, why has Major General Batmanghelich, in obedience to the king’s order, taken part in the destruction of the Haziratul-Quds [Baha’i Centre]? While this historic action of Major General Batmanghelich signifies the oneness and unity amongst clergy and the army, finally [it is] His Excellency, the King of Iran, who has been criticized!

Is there anyone who can ask these gentlemen, “If the destruction of the Hazaratul-Quds was so imperative, then what objection existed for the chief of staff of the army, who obeys His Royal Majesty’s order, to take part and strike the first blow with a pickaxe to the building of the Haziratul-Quds in the name of His Royal Majesty?

And if you are against the destruction of the Haziratul-Quds, the Baha’i Centre, then you should complain to the religious authorities and find out why they created such a scene that it might lead to the destruction of the Haziratul-Quds.
