Today, the Supreme Criminal Court will issue its verdict on 44 people who were accused of participating in the incident in Hormozak Village of Yazd. Yesterday, after the last defence of the defendants, a fight broke out among the spectators, as a result of which the court session was discontinued.

The Supreme Criminal Court of Tehran, which is examining the case of 44 defendants [with regard to] seven slain Baha’is in Yazd, held its session yesterday in the presence of the defendants.

The subject of yesterday’s court hearing was the indictment of 44 people accused of participating in the [murder] incident in Hormozak Village of Yazd, which happened 11 months ago, and as a result of which six men and a woman were killed...

The court will issue the final verdict on the defendants today.
