Madani: Irresponsible Individuals Must Not Interfere With Occupation of the Nest of American Espionage!!

…Ahmad Madani, current representative of the Consultative [National] Assembly, during an interview with Kayhan journalist stated his views regarding the hostage situation, economic sanctions and Imperialist bases in Iran.  The interview follows below:”

Answer:  It was customary in the past to “point the finger” and condemn people under the pretext that [so-and-so] is a “Baha’i”.  This “pointing the finger” and general condemnation is wrong.  In those days [during the time of Shah] anyone who did something was accused of being pro-Shah and these days everyone can be accused of being pro-America.  This is not right and is wrong!  These are tools used to create fascism.  A country needs law and order.   People must elect whoever they want and entrust them with all the affairs of the country.  The existing chaotic situation is worse and pleases the Americans.  Whoever is assigned to do a task should also prepare guidelines for its implementation; and they should refrain from actively engaging in all other affairs of the country.
