Court Order

The appeal by Mr. Feizollah Rowshan against the court order number 115, 4 Ordibehesht 1386 [24 April 2007], issued by the Branch 2 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Sari is rejected. The order, which establishes his sentence of one year in prison and four years in exile to the town of Bijar, for charges of “engaging in propaganda against the regime of the Islamic Republic of and in support of groups and organizations opposing the regime”, is not valid. This is because the contents of the file prove the allegations and activities against the regime, and no effective reason has been provided that would invalidate the appealed court order. Pursuant to Paragraph A, Article 257 of the Criminal Procedure Code, we reject his appeal and affirm the court order. The issued decision is final.
