On 2 Ordibehesht 1370 [22 April 1991] an extraordinary session of Branch 6 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Tehran was convened, presided over by the undersigned, Abdolkarim Ahmadi. The criminal file, reference 01/29326/TA/69, of the Office of the Prosecutor of the Islamic Revolution for the accused Mr. Rostam Sefidvash, son of Siavash, was reviewed. According to the content of the file:

1- Rostam Sefidvash and his wife and children are members of the perverse Baha’i sect. According to information received from the political deputy prosecutor and the Islamic Republic Information Document Centre, numbered 0-182730570, dated 23 Azar 1365 [14 December 1986], page 269, and the file of Rostam Sefidvash, son of Siavash, birth certificate number [redacted], born on [redacted], [Baha’i] registration number [redacted] and date of [Baha’i] registration 1326 [1947] – Bandar-e Gaz, [Mr. Sefidvash] belongs to the perverse Baha’i sect.

2- The abovementioned is a lawyer who worked at the Gorgan Judiciary before the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Many years ago, he used to travel to occupied Palestine and England due to heart disease. But according to reports, during the victory of the Islamic Revolution, he left the country and travelled to occupied Palestine and America with his wife and children for a while. As per the said report, pages 292 to 297 of the file, he went to England with his family, and settled and worked there. Up to now, they have not returned home.

3- According to the investigation carried out by the Office of the Prosecutor of the Islamic Revolution and the Mostazafan and Janbazan Foundation[1] of Gorgan, the belongings they left behind, as listed in letter number G-106/15157, dated 13 Aban 1369 [4 November 1990], pages 469 and 470 of the file in possession of the said Foundation, are as follows:

A) Three sixths of the superstructure of a beach garage, including 78 shops and one-and-a-half/sixths [illegible] of that

B) One two-storey residential building on [redacted]

C) One old one-storey building, located on [redacted] – One two-storey residential building on [redacted]

D) One city lot sized 786 square metres, located in [redacted]

E) One old two-storey building, located on [redacted]

Subsequent to reviewing the file, the Court issued the decision.

Court Decision

Considering the above and the content of the file, and available evidence and documents, Rostam Sefidvash, son of Siavosh, and his wife and children are members of the perverse Baha’i sect. Rostam Sefidvash, with [Baha’i] registration number [redacted] and date of registration 1326 [1947] of Bandar-e Gaz, became affiliated with the said sect, and during the victory of the Islamic Revolution left Iran and [illegible] from the Islamic government and sought refuge in apostasy; therefore, their remaining properties (both identified and to-be-identified in future) warrant no respect, and the order for their confiscation is issued and announced. Moreover, according to the information received, some of their properties are taken over by the Mostazafan and Janbazan Foundation of Islamic Revolution, and some of their properties are taken over by the Martyrs Foundation of the Islamic Revolution. Therefore, as per order of the supreme leader, they remain in the possession of those foundations, and the deeds of the said properties will be transferred to the names of the aforementioned foundations (Mostazafan and Janbazan Foundation and Martyrs Foundation). The issued order will be binding and enforceable following confirmation by the esteemed head of Branch 1 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Tehran, Hojatoleslam Nayyeri. /20
