Honourable Ashraf[1], Mr. Ghavamol-Saltaneh

Further to the previously submitted letters regarding the Neyriz events, we are bringing this matter to your attention again, that Seyyed Mohiyeddin Fali keeps on inciting the residents against the Baha’is, as before, and repeatedly encouraging the hateful and the malevolent to kill and pillage the oppressed [Baha’is]. As a result of his provocations and incitements, the Baha’is of Neyriz have been under the attack of the seditious to the point where they are unable to leave home and approach their places of work. Recently, they have been fired at, too, as, a few days ago, the arm of a youth was hit by a bullet. The local authorities, in spite of repeated promises, have not [yet] taken any concrete step, and have not tried to diminish the incitements of the aforementioned Seyyed. If the situation continues as is, bloody events will inevitably take place. We are requesting that your honour issue the necessary orders to the relevant authorities to prevent unwarranted actions, in order to save the lives and properties of some of the oppressed and honest subjects from the aggression of the transgressors, who have taken the Baha’is as victims to reach their subversive goals.

With utmost respect,

Secretary of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Iran,

Ali-Akbar Furutan
