With regard to letter Number 1091 – 6 Shahrivar 1323 [28 August 1944] which included the copy of the note from Mr. Sheidani, the head of the accounting office of the Department of Roads of Shahroud, I would respectfully inform you that I have sought clarification from the police force of Shahroud. According to their report, [Mr. Sheidani] had already left for Tehran before the incident of (17 Mordad [1323] [8 August 1944]). He had not been harmed, and neither [has he] been a suspect in the incident. None of the employees of the Department of Roads have been injured.
