Grand Ayatollah Borujerdi Opposed to Any Kind of Disturbances

As our reporter has been informed, Grand Ayatollah [Borujerdi], the leader of the Muslims around the world, said, during discussion with close relatives and friends around [him], that whatever causes bloodshed, plundering and looting against human beings is contrary to [his] views. Ultimately, the government should stop the harmful propaganda of the Baha’is and prevent them from interfering in the affairs of the Shias. By accident, the government acted to the full, according to the views of the honourable ayatollah, and gave strict orders to stop the Baha’is in the departments and institutions and occupy their assemblies and places of gathering everywhere. It is quite clear that this view was the wish of the Iranian nation, but those who wanted to take advantage of the above view to create conflict are truly the dangerous enemies of Iran.
