1- In implementing the order, the expulsion of the above-mentioned person, as indicated in row 22 of the order, was included in directive number 848 [issued by] this Centre, and he has been so notified.
2 - The above-mentioned ranking officer asked this Centre why he had been discharged, and was informed that he had been expelled from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic for being a follower of the Baha’i sect. No other reason is specified in his records. He has requested that [the reasons for] his expulsion from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran be communicated to him via your office. We therefore ask that the reason for the dismissal of the aforementioned ranking officer be communicated to this Centre by your department so that he may be so informed.
