Badiollah Haghpaykar

Badiollah Haghpaykar was born in 1917 in Tehran.  At the age of 25 he moved to Karaj and established his own business of buying and selling car parts.  He was a member of the Local Spiritual Assembly[1] of Karaj.  Towards the end of his life he pioneered to a nearby small town called Gohardasht and served on the Local Spiritual Assembly there.  He was arrested once for 9 days in February 1981.  Then two months later he was arrested again and imprisoned.  He was executed by firing squad, on 08 May 1982, together with husband and wife Eshraghiyyeh Forouhar and Mahmoud Forouhar.  Their bodies were laid to rest in Baba-Salman cemetery in Karaj by their families, and in accordance with Baha’i law.
