Important conversations of two honourable Grand Ayatollahs, Shirazi and Qomi

His Holiness, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: We do not consider Baha’ism as a religious minority

His Holiness, Grand Ayatollah Qomi: Baha’ism has always played the role of the colonialists’ secret agent

This morning, the spokesperson of the warrior and Grand Ayatollah Shirazi announced that last night, His Holiness, Grand Ayatollah Qomi, while accompanied by the ayatollah’s respected son and a number of other respected clergy, arrived at the residence of His Holiness, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi to visit and hold discussions.

In this meeting, which took more than an hour, important regional issues and recent national developments were discussed. Together, both distinguished clergymen approved and exalted the occupation of the centres of the activities of Baha’ism and the confiscation of their documents and records, which [according to them] clarifies the plans and plottings of the Baha’is for opposing the Iranian Revolution and Islamic movement.

…And they considered such actions as Islamic, and within their primary duties, which is acceptable by His Holiness, the Guardian of the Age, may our souls be sacrificed for Him. His Holiness, Grand Ayatollah Qomi, stated that Baha’ism in different regions has always spied in favour of Britain, Russia, the United States of America and Israel. Their relationship and collaboration with Jews is quite evident. The occupation of their centre of activities and the confiscation of their documents and records are [done] with [his] full endorsement and appreciation.

His Holiness, the Grant Ayatollah Shirazi, also stated, “As I have previously been in agreement with this action, I also consider the occupation of this centre and the confiscation of Baha’i documents and records to be one of the positive Islamic and religious actions. But I do not approve of aggression against the individual members of the Baha’i community. In principle, the objective has not been, and is not, to offend and to fight the Baha’is.

His Holiness, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi said, “We do not consider Baha’ism as one of the religious minorities and whoever would consider them as such is making a serious mistake…”
