Commentary Notes of Parliamentary Proceedings

…The speech of Hojjatol-Islam Shojooni, Karaj Representative, who during his struggles during the time of Taghut[1] rule, was imprisoned 25 times and was forbidden to preach for 10 years, overshadowed the speeches of the first speaker.  Hojjatol-Islam Shojooni set forth his ideas in the form of 15 questions which are topics of public interest these days …

Hojjatol-Islam Shojooni, regarding one of the Temporary Government’s bungles said: “The Head of the Prime minister’s Office of the Temporary Government wrote in a letter to the so-called Baha’ism community: “I beseech the Almighty God for the increased success of the Baha’ism community”.

Some Representatives demanded to know the name of the Head of the Prime minister’s Office of the Temporary Government.  Hojjatol-Islam Shojooni responded: “Ebrahim Hakimi”, and Ayatollah Khalkhali yelled: Hakimi is himself a Baha’i!!
