Asadollah Kamel-Moghaddam

Born: 27 March 1920, Babol, Mazandaran

Died in prison in Tehran on 2nd May 1984


Asadollah Kamel-Moghaddam completed his elementary education and then entered the workforce.  In 1943 he married and moved to Behshahr.  After eight years he and his family transferred to Tehran.  He served on Local Spiritual Assemblies[1] of Behshahr and Aryashahr. 

Then on 27 October 1983, his home was raided and he was arrested.  For three months he was moved back and forth between the police prison and Ghasr prison.  Then in March 1984 he was transferred to Evin prison.  On 02 May 1984, his family was informed that he had suffered a fatal heart attack.  His body was not returned to his family; he was possibly buried by the authorities.
