The Mistake of Acting Minister of National Economy

According to the report received, on the instructions of the acting minister of national economy, a representative of that ministry was commissioned to travel to London and establish an Iranian pavilion for presenting the Iranian products to the people of London.

Without going into the nature of setting up such a pavilion in London, whose people are better acquainted with Iranian goods than the people of Tehran, it is interesting to [ask] why, in sending an officer to London, they chose Mehdi Aziz Bigloo, who is one of the Baha’i leaders and is the brother-in-law of the famous Varqa. Why [is he given] three million rials of credit, while a budget deficit exists in the country?
