Ganji: Baha’ism is A Religion Made by Iranians, Not Westerners!

... According to Ferghe News, Baha’is and their masters have always sought, as a fundamental strategy, to portray the Baha’i sect as a religion of Iranian origin. In implementing this strategy, they have not spared any tools and devices, and the satellite channels, such as BBC Persian, Manoto, and… have made every effort to use demagogy and show that the Baha’is are being oppressed...

But what is certain is that the so-called human rights claims of the enemies about the Baha’is in Iran are baseless, because we know that in Iran, if a Baha’i does not commit anti-security, propaganda, illegal and other acts, he can enjoy public rights like other citizens, and it is obvious that the offender will face the law, whether a Baha’i or not.

Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli-Larijani, the head of the judiciary, also stated in this regard, “Baha'ism is a false religion of the West and is [used] to cause disruption in the Islamic countries; however, in the Islamic Republic of Iran, there has been no attack on Baha’is simply because they were Baha’is, and what has happened is legal action against those who have spied for foreigners or acted against national security.”

Recently, Akbar Ganji wrote on his Facebook page, following the remarks of the head of the judiciary, “Bahaism is a religion made by Iranians, not Westerners. For this reason, it is the insider, insider, insider, it is ours!” It is worth mentioning that Erfan Sabeti  (son of Parviz Sabeti, a Baha’i and one of the senior officials and famous torturers of SAVAK), welcomed this opinion.

[Akbar Ganji], who basically considers religion a historical and social structure and not a divine one, said, “Islam is imported, and the officials should accuse Islam of being imported, not the Baha’is, who are completely Iranian!”...
