Ahmad Kaveh

Born: 24 July 1935, Bagh-e Bahadoran, Isfahan

Executed by firing squad in Isfahan on 26th January 1987

 

Ahmad Kaveh was born into a Muslim family. He acquired a high-school diploma in Persian Literature. He declared his faith in Baha’u’llah in 1958.  He was arrested in December 1984 in Tehran.  He was held at Pul-e-Rumi Revolutionary Komiteh detention centre for two weeks and later was transferred to Seyyed Ali-Khan prison in Isfahan.  He was moved to Kamal Esmail prison for two months.  His last imprisonment was somewhere in west side of the city of Isfahan for a duration of two years. On 26 January 1987, he was executed by firing squad.  During the imprisonment he endured six months of solitary confinement and was severely tortured.  He was buried in Isfahan on 27 January 1987, in accordance with Baha’i law.
