Transfer of the Baha’i Centre

About 60 Turkish Baha’is were arrested in an evening meeting by Ankara police, according to the report.

Among the detainees, two Iranian physicians, Dr. Minaie and Dr. Nayyer, were seen, who were identified by the Turkish police as the leaders of the Baha’i sect.

It is said that, because the Turkish government, similar to the Iranian government, has prevented the Baha’is’ activities, a number of Baha’is of Turkey have decided to relocate the centre of their activities to another Asian country, and some of them have decided to return to Iran.
