What Does the Presence of Muslims at Abdu’l-Baha’s Funeral Indicate?!
On the anniversary of Abdu’l -Baha’s passing, the Baha’i Faith’s Telegram channel published photographs announcing the presence of large number of people (especially Muslims and Islamic scholars) at his funeral. This, despite the fact that the only reason for the presence of Muslim scholars at the funeral of this Baha’i leader can be sought in his hypocritical nature.
Adyannet – Abbas Effendi, the second leader of the Baha’i organization, died at the age of 80, on 27 Rabi’al-Awwal 1340, or 28 November 1921, in Haifa. On this occasion, the propaganda Telegram channel of the Baha’i organization published photos and writings announcing the large presence of people (especially Muslims and Islamic scholars) at his funeral. Observing such a claim, the question arises for us as to what really caused the Muslim clerics to attend the funeral of a person who claims the extinction of Islam and he who has distorted the divine verses of the Quran in his works! The answer to this question can be found in Abdu’l-Baha’s hypocritical behaviour; because he pretended to be a Muslim ascetic in Palestine, and in the presence of the Muslim scholars of that city, he attended the Muslim congregational prayers. With these interpretations, the only reason for the presence of Muslim scholars at the funeral of this Baha’i leader can be sought in his hypocritical nature.
