Fabulizing in Social Networks

Although the spread of lies is in abundance in such networks, the most reprehensible is the creation of groups that try to attract Muslim youth and junior youth in an unsupervised atmosphere by hiding their nature.

According to Religions News Agency, the expansion of social networks is a good platform for propaganda activities of sects and hostile groups. In this regard, the Baha’i sect’s organizations are engaged in various activities with the agenda of attracting Muslims.

In order to attract Muslim youth, they have launched propaganda channels and various groups on social networks, which have attracted and been visited by a number of young people.

The content of these channels includes fabricated stories of Baha’i leaders with their praise, weekly news with the theme of confusing public opinion, encouraging people to buy online stories of Muslims who have converted to Baha’ism, and publishing strange and ridiculous opinions about Baha’ism by prominent figures and scholars, without providing a source. For example, in one of these quotes, it is quoted from [Thomas] Edison, “All the inventions I have made were due to the presence of Abdu’l-Baha in the world and the rapid advancement of the Baha’i Faith!”

Although the spread of lies is in abundance in such networks, the most reprehensible is the creation of groups that try to attract Muslim teenagers and youth in an unsupervised atmosphere by hiding their nature. Groups that identify junior youths under the humanitarian guise of eliminating academic problems invade the privacy of members and gradually try to attract them to the organization.

In addition to the need for the cyber officials to pursue and try to shed light on the lies of these networks, parents and teachers should also closely monitor the presence of children in cyberspace in order to prevent our future investments from falling into the trap of these fraudsters.
