With reference to letter number 25779/1936, dated 28 Tir 1322 [20 July 1943], and letter number 26225/2471, dated 27 Khordad 1322 [18 June 1943], the original complaint is being forwarded, and we need to inform you that, according to report number 214, dated 26 Shahrivar 1322 [18 September 1943] from the police force, a copy of which is enclosed, the Baha’is have not engaged in openly promoting [their faith] in such a way that they need to be prosecuted. However, the people of Zabol are concerned about the Baha’is’ moving to their city and because of this, they have made this complaint. The individual Baha’is have resorted to purchasing real estate at a very high price, which has caused additional concern for the residents. However at this time, the individual Baha’is have stopped purchasing additional real estate and are not active. Despite this, once again, training has been given to the police force to immediately prosecute them as soon as they openly promote [their faith].
